But sports activities make even greater demands on them, which can lead to a range of injuries, from blisters and sprained ankles to torn ligaments and many other joint or muscle problems.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>And, of course, just like everyone else, sports players are always at risk of suffering from common complaints such as corns, calluses and Athlete\u2019s Foot. Here are a few tips to help you keep your feet ready for action:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Wash your feet every day, and dry thoroughly.<\/li>\n<li>Wear only good-quality, well-fitting cotton socks.<\/li>\n<li>Keep within the weight range for your height, as being overweight or out of shape places added stress on the feet.<\/li>\n<li>Always use the appropriate footwear for each sport and surface.
